If you are unsatisfied with your FIRST session (including the trial session), please get in touch with our office through the Contact Us Form or email us directly at hello@koreanstudycafe.com within 24 hours of your first class to better assist you.

We will provide a full refund. NO QUESTION ASKED!

We require the following from students to ensure student growth in the Korean Language.

  • Should be above 15 years old
  • Spare at least an hour to do assignments and review after each lesson
  • Be engaging and participate in the class
  • Be open to learning and practicing with the instructor
  • Prepare to take a small vocabulary/grammar quiz from the previous lesson
  • A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone
  • Solid internet connection to operate Zoom

We offer the LIVE CLASS to individuals/groups who want to learn Korean with a professional instructor. 

We believe each student is unique and has their ideal way of acquiring knowledge. Our instructor customizes lesson materials using the curriculum according to each student.

We offer a CORE curriculum for beginners, developed in-house through extensive research and thousands of hours instructing various students worldwide.

Also, we offer a SPEAKING & WRITING curriculum targeted towards intermediates & advanced level students.

Each session will last 50 minutes.

Suppose you don’t show up for a scheduled session without cancellation or rescheduling. In that case, you will be deemed absent, and your session credit will be deducted.

Any cancellation or reschedule less than 24 hours before the set schedule will be counted as a completed session and non-refundable.  We recommend cancelling or rescheduling your session at least 25 hours before the session.

If you seek a refund of leftover session credit within your purchased package, please get in touch with our office through the Contact Us Form or e-mail us directly at hello@koreanstudycafe.com at least 14 days from the package expiry date. We cannot provide a refund if your package has expired.

  • You may receive a FULL REFUND if you have not used any session credit in the recently purchased package AND when the refund requested date is less than 14 days since the purchase.
  • You may receive an 80% REFUND if you have not used any session credit in the recently purchased package AND when the refund requested date is more than 14 days since the purchase.
  • You may receive PARTIAL REFUND if you have taken a session or sessions using session credit from the package. Each completed session will be deducted from the total purchased amount at an undiscounted session price(USD $25) with an additional administration fee of USD $10.
  • NO REFUND is provided for the free session, completed session, cancelled session within 24 hours prior to the start time (unless using Emergency Cancellation Ticket), and the sessions for which the student did not show up.

You may receive a FREE SESSION after participating in the promotion or event.

Once you satisfy all the conditions of the promotion or event, you will receive an email from Korean Study Café Office within 48 hours.

We will provide you with a separate link and unique code to book your FREE SESSION within the email. A unique code is valued for one regular session and can only be used once. You must use the FREE SESSION code before the expiry date, and the free session code has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Booking Session

We offer an open booking system for all students. You can book, cancel or reschedule on your own time.

One benefit of a purchasing package is receiving a $5, $10, $15, or $20 OFF coupon code for the next package purchase.

You can apply the discount coupon by entering the code on the Coupon section and pressing update. You will see the new discounted rate before proceeding to purchase.

Session credit expiration dates depend on the package you purchase.

  • Package 5: 60 days
  • Package 10: 100 days
  • Package 15: 140 days
  • Package 20: 180 days

Your package expiry date may be extended, depending on the Korean Study Café circumstances. If your expiry date is extended, you will receive an email notifying you of the extension.

When you click the GREEN BUTTON on the booking page and enter your email or unique package code, it will bring up your expiry date.

Our package is designed to provide an adequate amount of time for students to complete their purchased package. The student may purchase Package Extension to extend their package by additional 30 days for USD 20.00

Scheduling

You can cancel or reschedule the class up to 24 hours before the class for NO EXTRA COST. Each student has access to cancel or reschedule on their own. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the session, the unused session will be credited to your account. We recommend cancelling or rescheduling your session at least 25 hours before the session.

We provide flexible cancellation/rescheduling options to all students up to 24 hours before the class for NO EXTRA COST. Any cancellation or reschedule less than 24 hours before the set schedule will be counted as a completed session and non-refundable.

However, we understand that sometimes emergencies do happen. Instead of losing session credit, the student can use an emergency cancellation ticket to cancel the session for up to 4 hours, providing additional 20 hours of flexibility to students. If you purchased the package (10, 15, or 20), your account would be credited with an emergency cancellation ticket(s). You can use the emergency cancellation ticket to cancel or reschedule up to four (4) hours before the session.

To use the EMERGENCY CANCELLATION TICKET, please get in touch with our office through the Contact Us Form or email us directly at hello@koreanstudycafe.com at least four (4) hours before the scheduled session. For more information, please visit Refund & Service Fee Policy.

Our staff and instructors do our best to commit to our schedules.  We try our best to notify our students at least 24 hours prior to the session if the instructor requests rescheduling due to issues such as internet connection, natural disasters, or other emergency reasons.

If you experience where the instructor does not appear to class without any notice, please get in touch with our office through the Contact Us Form or email us directly at hello@koreanstudycafe.com to better assist you.

We will reschedule your session and be given a $10 off coupon for the session registration.

Entering Session

After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation in your email with the unique Zoom link attached. You can enter the session by clicking the provided Zoom link on the confirmation email.

If you’re having trouble downloading Zoom, please try disabling the pop-up blocker on your browser and press the download button again.

If you’re having trouble installing Zoom, please get in touch with Zoom installation support.

Zoom may have disabled the audio connection to prevent any sounds from leaking.

Please double check that you pressed the “Join Audio” button on the bottom left-hand corner of your Zoom window.

If you’re having trouble with Zoom Audio or Video, please get in touch with Zoom Audio & Video support.

Payment

Price is based on USD (United States Dollar)

We offer CAD (Canadian Dollar) to Canadian Residents paying using Interac e-Transfer. We use the market exchange rate to give you the best pricing possible. For more information, please get in touch with us at Booking@koreanstudycafe.com.

We accept ALL major debit & credit cards by Stripe. We use the same processor used by Lyft, Udemy, Instacart and other large corporations.  

We offer Interac e-Transfer for Canadian Residents paying in CAD (Canadian Dollar). We use the market exchange rate to give you the best pricing possible.
